In a culture held captive by greed, we renounce the idolatry of materialism and embrace the call to give of ourselves and our possessions. Our goal is for 50% of all expenditures to go toward missions, church planting, and the poor. We remember the poor because God does. Because all of us are poor in some way. Because Scripture simply does not allow us to divorce God’s heart from the plight of the poor. We long to be a people who stand so amazed at God’s grace that we can’t help but live lives of adventure and generosity.
Will you join us on this generosity adventure?

Working to rescue and rehabilitate survivors of human trafficking. Missionary Sam and Life for the Innocent are committed to seeing an end to human trafficking on the planet. They rescue, rehabilitate, and finally get these children adopted into loving Christian families. Sam’s team is also very active in church planting throughout South Asia, especially in regions where few or no Christian churches exist. The graphic below shows what the cost breakdown is for each child from rescue to adoption.

For over a hundred years, our new building in Fort Lauderdale has served as a beacon of Gospel hope in the community, stretching back to the founding of the City of Fort Lauderdale! In addition to our soon-coming Greenhouse Sunday morning services, in any given week the space also serves as a huge blessing to the recovery community - housing a Recovery Bible Study, an AA, CA and NA group. We also host a Spanish-language congregation, who began renting space at the church over 26 years ago and are still going strong! We are seeking to raise funds to pursue some needed renovations, so that this facility can continue to be a HUB for Gospel ministry for generations more to come!

This is a partnership that is special to us here at Greenhouse, and one that our faith family has been a part of since our first year meeting at Western High; each year your generosity has allowed us to increase our giving to this organization that has been on the frontlines addressing food insecurity in our county.

As unemployment levels skyrocketed last year, many families found themselves unable to afford food for their children and families and Harvest Drive was able to help provide food and meals for many families in need within the Broward School District and continues to do so.

As Christmas approaches, there are many families in Fort Lauderdale who do not have the ability and resources to purchase Christmas gifts for their children. In response to this need, Rio Vista Church created an organization called Santa’s Wish List which is a 501(C)(3) charity that identifies children in need through churches, schools, and the community. The child’s exact wishes are identified, the gifts are purchased, wrapped, and delivered with the help of many volunteers.
