WHAT EXACTLY IS BREAKTHROUGH?

Here’s what you can expect:

First off, Breakthrough is a well planned event with multiple sessions that are interconnected and build off one another. So if you can not attend the entirety of breakthrough we ask that you wait to attend another Breakthrough weekend when you can attend the entire event.

As far as what Breakthrough is, Breakthrough is similar to a retreat in the sense that is a weekend centered around God. However, Breakthrough is more than a retreat. There are multiple sessions aimed at delivering the Gospel in clear, concise, and compelling ways suitable for anyone to hear from new Christian or atheist to a seasoned Christian follower. These sessions are followed by personal ministry, dramas, worship, fun activities, and more.

We travel to Gainesville Friday morning. Transportation is not provided but we do our best to carpool in an effort to keep costs low, so reach out to Breakthrough Coordinator JC Cody if you are interested in carpooling. Limited seats for van transportation are available on a first come first serve basis. We arrive in Gainesville and start on Friday evening with our first Session and end on Sunday Morning.

Meals are included: Friday light snacks, Saturday continental breakfast, lunch, full dinner, and plenty of snacks throughout the day! There is plenty of food throughout Breakthrough!

The weekend is designed with specific teachings from God’s Word.  We desire to create a safe space where you can connect with God receive individual prayer and ministry.

We believe God answers prayers, heals broken lives, breaks bondages, saves souls, and releases the power of His Spirit.

That’s what Breakthrough Weekend is all about.

What does is cost?

  • Registration cost is $80, with a $50 discounted cost for college students. No childcare provided.

Where is it located?

  • The upcoming Breakthrough Weekend will be hosted at our Gainesville Church location. Greenhouse Church - 11200 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32606

Is transportation provided?

  • No, we try our best to carpool to cut down costs.

Who can I contact for more information?

Where do we stay?

  • You are free to lodge wherever you wish at night whether that be friend’s house, hotel, etc. We do offer free lodging(camping style) at one of our church buildings. You just need to bring a air mattress or some sort of sleeping equipment, along with toiletries.

What is the schedule?

  • In order to limit expectations and allow for deep connection with God we do not release the exact schedule until arrival in Gainesville. But the schedule is as follows:

    • Friday: 6:30pm-10:30pm

    • Saturday: 7:30am- 10pm

    • Sunday: 8:15am- 11am

What do I bring?

1) Bible
2) Two comfortable outfits & your PJs - only 2 nights, space is limited don't overpack!
3) Toothbrush, Toothpaste, floss and other personal toiletries
4) Towel
5) Sleeping Bag(or other sleeping equipment) or a Thick Blanket & Pillow(
6) Jacket or Sweater
7) Flip Flops (for showering)
8) Phone charger
9) Medication, vitamins (if needed)
10) Snacks to share on the ride up
11) Great attitude and a humble open heart!
